Good: SVW!; Muse@Arena;

Bad: My left hip, my right shoulder

Ugly: Uli, Felix, Andi und Mirko

+ 7 - 3 | § Turin

Ich durfte letztens einige Tage in Turin weilen, hatte allerdings leider wenig Zeit für Tourismus. But it's not as ugly as I'd feared. To see some rather dull pictures, click here. Die Italiener geben sich ja angeblich besonders mit der Gastfroindschaft viel Mühe, dies erklärt dann auch wohl das Graffiti nahe meines Hotels:

No-Go Area Turin

Guess they really want us Germans to feel at home.

That I'm quite in love with New Zealand is probably not really a secret and that I've also got the tendency to lean towards the "the grass is always greener on the other side" fraction shouldn't be a surprise to people who know me.

But now that I've finally entered the planning stage for my next NZ trip I've discovered something very handy: the NZ Travel Planner. Go to www.newzealand.com/travel and you'll see what I mean. It's fantastic! Bookmark things, add notes, arrange them in your calendar and they'll be automatically displayed on a map, complete with distance/routing information etc. etc. etc. Marvellous. It's completely impossible to even imagine someone in Germany, let alone some Dachverband or government institution, thinking about this. For fuck's sake, the guys running the tourism industry here don't even know how to spell "internet".
